Mr. Conner was Founder, President and CEO of National Assessment Corporation (NAC) from 1997 to 2003. NAC was a national real estate due diligence firm specializing in engineering, construction and environmental assessments associated with commercial real estate acquisition, finance and surveillance. NAC was widely recognized as the fastest growing, most profitable firm in its industry and was successfully sold to LandAmerica in 2003. Prior to NAC, he co-founded Premier Medical Services in 1992, a national health services company that provided home care and life insurance due diligence services. Premier grew 75% per year reaching $43 million in 1996 when it was successfully sold to Pediatric Services of America.
Mr. Conner is currently a Partner in the investment firm, LBC Partners, LLC. LBC Partners provides capital and consulting services to emerging businesses. In addition to founding and successfully growing two companies, Mr. Conner has more than 20 years of experience in senior management positions involving operations, finance and administration. He has provided both equity and debt funding for a number of privately held companies, completed twelve merger and acquisition transactions, and negotiated bank and venture capital financings. Mr. Conner recently launched Pedemonte Cellars, a new Napa Valley premium wine, and as Managing Partner championed the wine's successful initial marketing, sales, and distribution. Mr. Connor is on the Advisory Board of Adelante Capital Management, a $3 billion asset management firm and the Board of Directors of Mayer Labs, a health care products company. He is also a board member of Boys Hope Girls Hope SF, Sonoma Valley Mentoring Alliance and a founding member of FUSE, a major gift campaign for Sonoma Valley High School Boosters. Mr. Conner earned a B.A. in economics from the University of California, Berkeley and an M.B.A. in finance from the University of Southern California.
